The Ghosts of 2012 has won an Inspiration Book Award after a nationwide poll attracting more than a million website hits. The award was presented at a ceremony in St Mary's Guildhall, Coventry, on 15th June, 2011. Says Barrington Stoke publisher Vicki Rutherford, "This is a reader-based award and we're thrilled that Ghosts has found such an appreciative audience. In many ways it's a provocative book, exploring the kind of society we might become, but there's obviously a real demand for this kind of writing."
